Gene has worked at Â鶹ÊÓƵ since March 2010. He is currently the Director of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Central. In addition, he has been an adjunct instructor in the School of Education since 2018, where he teaches Â鶹ÊÓƵx2 (CORE 200) He is also heavily involved in Â鶹ÊÓƵ Connects, where he facilitates conversations on race, identity, power and privilege for faculty, staff and students. Gene has previously worked in financial aid at the University of Maryland College Park, and at Sallie Mae, where he worked with schools and students on loan repayment and financial literacy
Gene is an Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumnus, having earned his Master's in Education in higher education administration.
